MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday (Apr 12) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.48 points to 1,597.13.

Volume was 3.907 billion lots worth RM2.438 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 578 to 340.
