MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 21.44 points to 1,595.29.

Volume was 7.052 billion lots worth RM4.046 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 860 to 315.
