MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 15.68 points to 1,532.63.

Volume was 4.646 billion lots worth RM2.673 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 661 to 309.
