MALAYSIA shares closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.3 points to 1531.33.

Volume was 3.419 billion lots worth RM2.353 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers by 647 to 322.
