MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 12.58 points to 1,575.67.

Volume was 7.360 billion lots worth RM4.239 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 811 to 298.
