MALAYSIA shares closed lower on xxday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.48 points to 1581.48.

Volume was 6 billion lots worth RM3.198 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers by 640 to 367.
