Malaysia: Shares close lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 17.43 points to 1,692.32. Volume was 2.1 billion lots worth RM2.7 billion. Losers outnumbered gainers 748 to 199.
