Malaysia: shares close lower on Thursday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.27 points to 1,721.27.
Volume was 2.10 billion shares worth RM1.86 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers by 445 to 433.
