MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.04 points to 1,816.88.

Volume was four billion lots worth RM3 billion.

Losers far outnumbered gainers 781 to 265.
