MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.6 points to 1,490.12.

Volume was 8.4 billion lots worth RM5.489 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 1,022 to 200.
