    MALAYSIAN stocks closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.10 points to 1,855.07. Volume was 2.34 billion shares worth RM2.06 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers by 442 to 453.
