MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 18.21 points to 1,513.07.

Volume was 7.494 billion lots worth RM6.184 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 768 to 376.
