Malaysia: Shares close lower on Thursday

    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday (Aug 18), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.54 points to 1,516.62.

    Volume was 2.513 billion lots worth RM1.951 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 486 to 364.
