    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.19 points to 1,790.11.

    Volume was two billion lots worth RM2.5 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 528 to 317.
