Malaysia: Shares close lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 26.69 points to 1,708.49.

Volume was three billion lots worth RM3.7 billion.

Losers far outnumbered gainers 805 to 233.
