    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday (Sep 22), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.02 points to 1,439.16.

    Volume was 2.167 billion lots worth RM1.679 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 447 to 372.
