    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday (Sep 29), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.39 points to 1,397.50.

    Volume was 2.277 billion lots worth RM1.861 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 499 to 343.
