MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.72 points to 1,674.52.

Volume was 4.3 billion lots worth RM2.6 billion.

Gainers narrowly outnumbered losers 491 to 400.
