Malaysia: Shares close lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 12.24 points to 1,599.19.
Volume was 2.0 billion lots worth RM1.7 billion.
Losers beat gainers 520 to 260.
