MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 22.14 points to 1,515.40.

Volume was 9.406 billion lots worth RM5.427 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 872 to 315.
