    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.640 points to 1,755.630.

    Volume was 1.719 billion lots worth RM2.007 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 465 to 373.
