    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.51 points to 1,549.90.

    Volume was 2.489 billion lots worth RM1.899 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 481 to 423.
