MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 10.18 points to 1,566.72.

Volume was 7.781 billion lots worth RM4.931 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 648 to 428.
