    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.53 points to 1,463.69.

    Volume was 2.411 billion lots worth RM1.222 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 409 to 390.
