Malaysia: Shares close lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.68 points to 1,598.75.

Volume was 8.761 billion lots worth RM8.219 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 770 to 304.
