    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday (Sep 6) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.53 points to 1,488.27.

    Volume was 2.191 billion lots worth RM1.655 billion.

    In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 470 to 348.
