    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.22 points to 1,848.20.

    Volume was 4.3 billion lots worth RM4.4 billion.

    Losers narrowly outnumbered gainers 561 to 499.
