    MALAYSIAN shares closed lower on Tuesday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index dropping 13.78 points to end at 1,809.72.

    Some 2.1 billion lots, valued at RM2 billion were traded. Losers outnumbered gainers 406 to 360.
