MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 13.62 points to 1,554.96.

Volume was 10.224 billion lots worth RM7.629 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 842 to 323.
