MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 11.22 points to 1,644.09.

Volume was 1 billion lots worth RM1 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 344 to 334.
