MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.43 point to 1,747.92.

Volume was 3.1billion lots worth RM2.8 billion.

Gainers narrowly outnumbered losers 458 to 449.
