MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 14.11 points to 1,782.70.

Volume was 3.697 billion lots worth RM2.113 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 530 to 490.
