MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 12.51 points to 1,597.22.
Volume was 2.1 billion lots worth RM1.7 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 585 to 291.
