    MALAYSIAN stocks closed lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 15.26 points to 1,856.20. Volume was 2.95 billion shares worth RM3.63 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers by 812 to 265.
