    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 22.23 points to 1,459.05.

    Volume was 2.426 billion lots worth RM1.821 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 732 to 231.
