    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 26.78 points to 1,431.10

    Volume was 2.729 billion lots worth RM1.901 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 640 to 255.
