Malaysia: Shares close lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 19.91 points to 1,489.56.

Volume was 5.249 billion lots worth RM3.608 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 636 to 373.
