MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 15.34 points to 1,695.37.

Volume was two billion lots worth RM1.9 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 494 to 322.
