    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday (Oct 12), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.25 points to 1,380.57.

    Volume was 1.847 billion lots worth RM1.559 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 490 to 344.
