MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.47 points to 1,575.38.

Volume was 8.551 billion lots worth RM7.010 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 614 to 447.
