Malaysia: Shares close lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 14.54 points to 1,574.90.

Volume was 1.9 billion lots worth RM1.4 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 516 to 265.
