    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.45 points to 1,784.44.

    Volume was 2.053 billion lots worth RM2.568 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 557 to 349.
