Malaysia: Shares edge down at Friday's open
MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.72 points or 0.1 per cent to 1,573.66 as at 9.07am.
Volume traded in the Bursa market totalled 497.5 million million lots worth RM355.7 million.
Gainers beat losers 271 to 251.
