Malaysia: Shares end higher

Malaysian shares closed higher on Friday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 5.84 points to 1,710.93.
Some 2.42 billion lots, valued at RM2 billion, were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 525 to 318.
