Malaysia: Shares end higher

Malaysian shares closed higher on Thursday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 2.92 points to 1,688.54.
Some 2.2 billion lots, valued at RM2.2 billion, were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 453 to 412.
