Malaysia: Shares end higher on Monday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.77 points to 1,672.63.
Volume was 2.01 billion lots worth RM2 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers by 512 to 316.
