Malaysia: Shares end higher on regional rally

Malaysian shares closed higher on Wednesday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 26.74 points to 1,689.25.
Some 2.7 billion lots, valued at RM3.2 billion, were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 699 to 223.
