MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.08 points to 1,688.45. Volume was 2.03 billion lots worth RM1.6 billion. Gainers outnumbered losers by 497 to 322.
