Malaysia: Shares end lower

MALAYSIAN shares ended lower on Monday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index slipping 29.98 points to close at 1,639.47.

Some 1.6 billion lots, valued at RM1.87 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 274 while losers numbered 526.
