    MALAYSIAN shares ended lower on Friday with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index slipping 0.21 point to close at 1,643.74.

    Some 1.33 billion lots, valued at RM1.57 billion were traded. Gainers numbered 271 while losers numbered 517.
